Common use
Propranolol is a beta-blocker used to treat high blood pressure, angina, heart rhythm disorders, and to prevent migraine headaches. It works by blocking the action of certain natural chemicals like adrenaline on the heart and blood vessels, reducing heart rate and blood pressure. Propranolol is also prescribed for anxiety, essential tremor, and certain types of thyrotoxicosis. Storage
Store propranolol at room temperature away from light and moisture. Keep the medication in a tightly closed container and out of reach of children. Do not store in the bathroom. Dispose of expired or unused medication properly.
